Behind the Summit

Organised by the Commonwealth Youth Council, the Commonwealth Secretariat and the Government of Malaysia, the Commonwealth Youth Summit will be the first of its kind.

A youth-led independent taskforce is in charge of creating the programme, invitation of speakers and supporting the participant selection.

Our Goal

To bring the most passionate youth leaders together to exchange experiences, foster learning, inspire and expand capacity.

We believe that given the right opportunities and support, youth-led projects can make a real change in our societies. We are expecting over 300 participants: international participants selected and funded through their Commonwealth Member State, international participants selected through an open application process and self-funded for travel and local participants.
